We’re excited to have you join us! If you’re driving into Mexico, here are key directions and tips to make your journey smooth: Border Crossing Tips -Required Documents: A valid passport, driver’s license, vehicle registration are required for traveling in Mexico. -Border Crossing Point: Recommended crossing location: the San Ysidro Port of Entry (Easily located using Google Maps/just south of San Diego). -Border Hours: San Ysidro Port of Entry is open 24 hours. -Pro Tip: Try to cross during off-peak hours to avoid long wait times. Driving Directions 1. Following the I-805 south will take you directly to the San Ysidro border crossing and into Mexico. 2. Use the right lanes to cross the border and as you pass continue to stay right and use the exit “Playas de Tijuana”. 3. Merge onto Tijuana-Ensenada Rd/Vía Internacional/México 1D and follow signs for “Playas de Tijuana/Rosarito”. 4. Use the right 2 lanes to turn slightly right to merge onto “Playas de Tijuana Rosarito-Ensenada Cuota Ruta del Vino”. 5. As you merge begin to make your way to the left lanes and follow the sign “Rosarito Ensenada” to exit left into the Toll Road. 6. You will stay on the toll roads for around 55 miles passing 3 toll road booths which you will stop and pay at (white building toll booths). 7. After passing the 3rd and final toll booth stay in the right lane and exit on a roundabout called “Tecate Ruta Vinicola”. 8. You will merge onto the main road and continue for about 16 miles until you reach “Calle Principal” where you will make a sharp left into the town. 9. You will now be in Valle De Guadalupe and your final destination will be dependent on your stay accommodations. See the attached link to Google Maps of the outlined directions.
