Vanessa and Andrew started out as just coworkers at Leeds. Andrew knew Vanessa was special the day he met her, and Vanessa thought he was great with his students. They started chatting here and there and became work friends. Andrew still knew Vanessa was supposed to be in his life in some way, and yet Vanessa was like "what a great friend." Vanessa took on fostering. Andrew was impressed. Vanessa started to invite Andrew around more and more. She wanted him around but she just didn't know why that might be. Andrew and Vanessa started to hang out more and more. They look back now and call those hang outs "friend dates." Why you ask? Andrew wanted them to be dates and yet Vanessa was still in the dark. Vanessa and Andrew truly loved being around each other because they liked who the other person was. Then the day of realization came for Vanessa. Andrew forgot to wish her a happy birthday and she was livid. Her closest friends had to help Vanessa talk through why she might be livid. And it clicked - Andrew was truly something special. From there Vanessa and Andrew moved at a fast pace with love. With Vanessa finally in the light about her love and Andrew always being in the light about his love, things could finally be as they were supposed to be. Vanessa enjoyed sharing her space with Andrew and that is when her family knew it was meant to be.
