Things To Do

While You're Here... We're so excited to celebrate with you! For our out-of-town guests and anyone with a little extra time between the ceremony and reception, we've put together a list of some of our favorite places and activities in the area.

Downtown Willoughby Historic District

Willoughby, OH

One of our favorite spots in the area! Downtown Willoughby is where Andrew and I first lived together, so it will always be special to us. It's full of great restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and local stores. You can grab a bite to eat, enjoy a drink, walk through the park, or stop for some ice cream

Firehouse Grill & Pub AND Wright Place AND Wood Room

Willoughby Hills, OH

Firehouse, Wright Place, and Wood Room are all great restaurants and bars located right near our reception venue.

Nora's Public House

Willoughby, OH

One of Andrew and my favorite spots to grab a quick drink in Downtown Willoughby

Manakiki Golf Course

Willoughby Hills, OH

One of our favorite golf courses in the area! If you're looking to get a quick round in while you're in town, Manakiki offers a fun and scenic course for golfers of all skill levels

Pranzo!

Willoughby, OH

Of course we had to include an Italian spot—Pranzo is one of our absolute favorites!

Spirits in WIlloughby

Willoughby, OH

A great local bar with a spacious outdoor patio, delicious food, and drinks.

Chagrin River Diner

Willoughby, OH

One our favorite breakfast spots. It will not disappoint!

Round1 Bowling & Arcade - Mentor

Mentor, OH

Round1 is where Andrew and I went on our fourth date! It's a fun spot for all ages, with arcade games, bowling, and plenty of activities—especially great for guests visiting with kids.

Headlands Beach State Park

Mentor, OH

Headlands is a beautiful beach to enjoy our Lake Erie shoreline and catch the sunset.

Squire's Castle

Willoughby Hills, OH

Squire’s Castle is a beautiful historic landmark located near our venue. It sits within a large park with scenic trails for hiking and exploring, making it a perfect spot to enjoy the outdoors and take in the lakefront scenery.

Middlefield

Middlefield, OH

As many of you know, Andrew and I recently moved to Huntsburg (about 5 minutes from Middlefield) to enjoy country living. While Middlefield is about 45 minutes from our venue, if you have time during your visit we highly recommend checking it out. It’s home to many wonderful Amish-owned establishments that we love, including the Pretzel Bar, Mary Yoder’s Amish Kitchen, and the local cheese factory. It’s a great way to experience a different side of Northeast Ohio!
