Andrew and Tori both went to Ohio University throughout their undergraduate degree. Their paths crossed many times as they were both university tour guides, YoungLife leaders, and obsessed with Donkey Coffee. Andrew swept Tori off her feet with his handsome jawline, adventurous spirit, and mad photography skills. Andrew on the other hand always thought Tori was out of his league. In the fall of 2018, Tori DM'd (Direct messaged) Andrew on Instagram "Would really like a book of all your mountain pics plz. Thx!" -- which in Tori language directly translated to "take me out on a date!". Andrew finally got the hint and they went on their first date at Donkey Coffee. The rest is history!

It was a hot summer day and Andrew surprised me with a trip to Yellow Springs. It was a magical day filled with gluten-free pancakes, exploring boutiques and antique shops. We tried to go on a hike, but as soon as we got there. signs "HIGH CRIME!" were posted everywhere and Andrew was very paranoid about leaving his backpack in the car.. which I should have known something was suspicious. When Andrew and I arrived back in Athens, he insisted we go to Donkey Coffee to grab a quick drink. I agreed and as soon as we walked in my favorite song was playing, he took me back to the table where we had our first date, he had prepared the most beautiful scrapbook full of our favorite memories, got down on one knee, said something that I am sure was beautiful but I blacked out so I don't remember, and asked me the best question ever, "Will you marry me?"

Andrew and I originally had our wedding planned for May 24th, 2020. But the world had other plans. On May 21st, 2020 Andrew and I vowed to forever love and stay beside each other forever. We had an intimate ceremony with just our parents, pastor, and a Facebook live audience. Regardless of COVID completely changing our plans, they weren't ruined. May 21st is our wedding anniversary but Septemeber 19th will be the day we get to finally celebrate with all of our loved ones and we are so excited to party with you all! See you then!
