Question
Where in the City is the wedding? Where is it in relation to other stuff?
Answer
The Columns is on the historic St. Charles Street (with the trolly). It is located in the Uptown portion of the City, which is upriver from the French Quarter and Central Business District (where the Superdome is). Uptown is known for being a little more quiet and mellow. From the Columns, you are about a 15 min uber to the heart of the French Quarter and Bourbon St.

Are children invited?
Answer
Yes! We will have a kids table at the wedding, but space is limited and just keep in mind we'll have a live band rocking. Please give us a heads up if you plan to have your kids join. We are also looking into shared babysitters for parents who want the night off. Text Andrew or Tamar if you are interested in that.

Nothing formal is planned! Please feel free to explore the City or head home early.

What's the food/drinks situation?
Answer
We'll have family style food the night of the wedding. A mix of the standards and some New Orleans classics. We're looking into gluten free and vegan options as well. There will be an open bar. For the Friday welcome event, we're serving BBQ and beer/wine. Text Tamar or Andrew if you have any concerns.

How do I get around?
Answer
Public transportation isn't great in NOLA, so we recommend Uber/Lyft. The trolly also runs down St. Charles where the wedding is. It's more fun than functional, but worth a ride if you have the time!
