Andrew and Steve met the modern way: by swiping right on Tinder in 2015! Andrew was smitten even before their first date started because Steve made the trip out to Long Island from Brooklyn, which meant a lot. Andrew still remembers the first time he saw him getting off the train. While their first date, a dinner & movie, was on the traditional side, they both knew that there was something special about it. They spent their next few dates checking out various parts of Brooklyn, Manhattan, a Long Island, and after a couple of months Steve even surprised Andrew with some tickets to Hamilton, which was Steve’s first Broadway show. From there, as they say, the rest is history…

After a little over five years together, Andrew proposed to Steve on one of NYC’s observation decks that overlooked all the places they’ve called home and where they’ve started to shape their lives together, with close family nearby. Andrew somehow managed to keep it a secret from everyone till he got down on one knee! We're so excited for you to join us as we say "I do" at our wedding in June of 2022. See you soon!
