What time do the celebrations kick off?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 14:30 sharp. We ask that you therefore arrive at our house between 13:45 and 14:15. Some drinks will be served, so come early and enjoy the vibes.

How do we get from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

We have organised transport (shuttles / busses) from our house to Katy's Palace. You can also drive of course, but not if you will be having any drinks! Rather pop in the shuttle and Uber home later. Its about a 20 minute drive from our house to Katy's. We will aim to have everyone at the reception by 17:00, so that we can watch the sunset from the Katy's palace balcony.

What should we wear?

Answer

The dress code is summer formal, with a touch of colour. This means suits and ties for the men and cocktail or formal attire for the ladies. The ceremony will be in the garden, so stilettos are not advised unless you are a pro at manoeuvring them over the grass. May can be chilly in JHB, especially at night, so bring something to keep you warm as well.
