So. There are three different airports you can fly into. Newark, JFK, and LaGuardia. Newark is the furthest from Brooklyn, about an hour away, depending on traffic, whereas JFK and LaGuardia are in Brooklyn. Flying into any airport is fine and will get you where you need to be.
The wedding is in Brooklyn, and we would suggest staying in Brooklyn.
1. Arlo Hotel in Williamsburg is the crem dela crem option (around $400 a night) and located close to the waterfront and about a 10 minute walk from the subway. 20 minute car ride or 30 minute subway to wedding venue.
2. Hotel Indigo Williamsburg ($320/night) is similarly gorgeous and close to the wedding venue. 10 minute car ride or 20 minute subway to wedding venue.
3. The Brooklyn Hotel ($190/night) is the more affordable option and still lovely! We'll actually be staying in an Airbnb 1 mile down the road from this hotel for the whole weekend.
