How did you know we were dreaming of those crystal champagne flutes?! They’re by far the most beautiful glasses in our home and we’ve never felt fancier. You’ll have to come over soon so we can toast to you! So excited to see you in June.

Andrew Retica & Sari Goldstein

How We Met

We first met in August 2016 at a charter school in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn (Shoutout 80 Underhill!). Andrew was teaching 5th grade math, and Sari was teaching 5th grade ELA. 

For the first few months, we were colleagues and friends. In December 2016, Andrew decided to ask Sari out on a date and the rest is history!

We had our first date on the last day of school before winter break in 2016 at Thom Thai restaurant in Prospect Heights (which has since changed names many times, but is always a Thai restaurant).

Since that first date we've lived in two apartments in the same building in Brooklyn and adopted the world's cutest and quirkiest goldendoodle, Mayer.

We got engaged in March 2023 at White Sands National Park and cannot wait to celebrate our marriage with all of you!
