We met on this dating app called Hinge! After a few weeks of getting to know each other, we decided it was time for our first date! Since Covid restrictions were still in place, we couldn't really go anywhere. Our first date ended up being at Kate Sessions Park in Pacific Beach and we talked for 4 hours!

We went on our first trip together to Pismo Beach. It was a such a relaxing weekend to spend together. Once we got back to San Diego, Drew dropped Sarah off at her house. Before she went inside, he told her that he loved her! Sarah began to cry and said she loved him too!

We love walks on the beach. Torrey Pines and Sunset Cliffs are our favorite beaches! You can always find us going to Mass and trying out a new Brunch spot on Sundays. One of our favorite activities is trying new coffee shops. Drew always gets a Vanilla Latte and Sarah gets a Matcha or Chai Latte. We also love cruising up and down the coast while listening to oldies or island music! You can also catch us at Disneyland together and everyone knows who the Disney fanatic is (Hint: NOT Drew).

We were planning to go to dinner with one of Drew's close friends that was flying in from out of state. We agreed to pick him up from the airport and go to dinner right after. As we were driving, Drew's friend called to let us know the baggage claim conveyor belt was not working and he would be delayed 45 minutes. We had some time to kill, so Drew named a couple of spots close to the airport where we could hangout. We ended up going to USD where we would go often to sit on the benches and watch the sunset. Little did Sarah know when we got there, there were roses petals and candles lit everywhere. A truly beautiful and unforgettable moment, when Drew got down on one knee and popped the question. Sarah said YES!! Drew had a photographer there to capture the special moment and also do a surprise proposal photo shoot. After the photoshoot, Drew told Sarah not to worry about calling the family as they all knew the proposal was happening. Drew said just the two of us would be going to dinner at Sardina's. When we got to Sardina's there was a surprise engagement party planned with all of our families! A truly amazing proposal and a great way to start our Engagement!
