Matron of Honor
For the last 20 years, since we met in our first grade class, Taylor has been my best friend and confidant, a faithful source of wisdom and encouragement, and a true bringer of the fun. Scheming our way into sleepovers, discovering magic quarters, and weekend stints of consuming nothing but cookie dough has bonded us for life, a gift that I will always thank the Lord for. Taylor has visited me every place I’ve lived, is the first to call on my birthday, and somehow always has the right words - something I can’t claim to have, especially when it comes to describing just how much I love my MOH!
Best Man
Having grown up in Charlottesville, Nate is a lifelong Hoos fan. In the spring of our senior year at Woodberry, Nate and I were in our dorm room when our phones buzzed. UVA had sent admissions decisions. Thankfully, UVA spared us a ton of awkwardness and let us both in. Nate and I remained extremely close throughout college, living together again our Fourth Year and adopting our favorite third-wheel, Sarah. Nate’s been there for me through the good and the bad, and I’ve always appreciated his curiosity and love of learning. He is my go-to guy for all things economics, and I’m often tempted to steal whatever book he’s reading. Going on twelve years of friendship, I know there is a lot of fun still to be had.

Sarah is not only my dear, dear friend, but she is also my Little Sister in Chi Omega - a chosen family member. Hailing from that other football state, the only thing Sarah loves more than the Tide are her people. She is fiercely loyal, the queen of celebrating others, and can match my ‘extra’ energy no matter the occasion - qualities that absolutely make her shine in any room. I’m inspired by Sarah’s strength and work ethic, her avid reading, too, and am so grateful to love and be loved by her.
Groomsman
Nick is another Woodberry classmate and UVA alum. Our sophomore year at Woodberry, we played entirely too much NHL 2K12, and no one on dorm could touch Nick. Reid may disagree, but don’t believe him. Nick is the life of the party and a pro at making people feel welcome. He’s a great friend to Sarah, or “Scams” as he would say. Ask Nick about the time he saved Sarah from a burglar on Madison Ln., despite the number of times Sar filed noise complaints against Nick!
Bridesmaid
I’ve never met a kinder person than Emery Brown. A lover of dogs, college football, and school spirit, Emery’s sunshine-y self has been blessing my life for many years now. This includes our days of braving the inner-circle in AP Euro, facing fears of heights in Switzerland as we traveled across Europe (our main reason for taking AP Euro, by the way), and ~entering society~ together through Bachelor’s Club. Em’s new first grade students are lucky to have her and so am I!
Groomsman
My new brother-in-law! Scott and I hit it off from the moment we met. He’s a phenomenal tennis player (he can’t be touched) and an all-around awesome guy. Scott and I have bonded over our love for sports and disdain for the Thunder’s losing seasons, beating Sarah in Catan, and many a fun night on the town…ask about a late night in an Edinburgh pub. I have consistently been impressed by Scott’s passion and courage. He is quick to accept challenges and has shown incredible strength and perseverance in various feats, from running the NYC Marathon to chasing his dream of professional tennis. I’m lucky to have a friend for life in Scott.
Bridesmaid
I can remember thinking to myself during our standing lunch dates at OHill after Econ classes in fall of 2015, ‘Sarah, you’ve really met an amazing friend.’ Clearly that was the understatement of the century because Carolyn has been so much more than an amazing friend. I’m grateful for all the times Carols has laughed and cried with me, problem-solved with me, and celebrated with me. She is intentional, dependable, and the greatest party bus dancer and fellow law school fiance I know!
Groomsman
Jack and I played high school baseball against one another, and we are sports rivals to this day. Impossible to tire out, Jack is a great adversary in tennis, squash, spikeball, you name it. Between living together for three years in college and joining the same fraternity, we have spent way too much time together. He’s an awesome roommate, an even better friend, and a part of so many great memories at UVA and in New York.
Bridesmaid
I met Emily for the first time about eight days after I had started dating her little brother at a horse race where most of the college students in attendance don’t actually watch any horses. I was nervous. Unsurprisingly, since that first day, Emily has been her incredibly kind self, always making me feel welcome and like family. Her passion, dedication, and drive are impressive, and she will make a great doctor. She will make an even greater sister! I can’t wait for you to walk down the aisle next May!
Groomsman
The best friend that almost wasn’t… Due to some last minute uncertainty about which house to join during rush, SAE almost missed out on a great one. I am so grateful to know Jack, and, because Jack was also a computer science major, I'm fortunate to have had him as a partner on many school projects. Jack has a way of picking people up when they are down and is probably the nicest person you’ll ever meet.
Bridesmaid
The day this new girl walked into my 8th grade vocal elective will forever be an important day in my life. Alexa is my soul sister and has been by my side as we learned to drive (and pump gas), ran (and both lost) for school office, and even dated best friends. Alexa is creative, bold, and a make it happen girl. She has always looked out for me - she orchestrated my first kiss after all! Alexa makes all of our lives exponentially brighter (and better tasting as our F&B connoisseur). Long live AATB.
Groomsman
I was introduced to Michael through Sarah, and it was honestly love at first sight. Big Mike is a stellar guy and organizer of fun. Whether it be his uncle’s oyster roast in Virginia Beach, our annual ski trips, or homemade pizza night in D.C., Michael is always finding ways to bring our friends together and keep us laughing. Michael does everything with 100% effort, whether that be late night runs down the Rotunda steps or his actual job - he lives life to the fullest and I’m lucky to know him.
Bridesmaid
Emily and I are the proud parents of two stuffed animal BFFs, Floppy and Shoggy, who met the first weekend of college at the RUF campout. It was at this same campout that I knew Emily was the kind of friend I’d want by my side in college and in life. She carries around a sparkle and warmth that makes you feel genuinely known and cared for. Emily is thoughtful, compassionate, a stellar roommate (mine of three years), and - our resident comedian. Look out, Tik Tok, she’s going viral!
Groomsman
It was only the second time I had met Thomas, on the balcony at Trinity Irish Pub, when he said, “Hey, you, me, and Jack Cole should live together next year.” I’m glad Thomas was thinking ahead because it was an awesome year together and we’ve been close friends ever since. Thomas is a talented musician, and after graduation, he did a brief stint on the bass for Adin and Jack Copeland’s band, Sunday Gravity. It’s hard to overstate what a great guy Thomas is, and I’m looking forward to being back in the same city, New York, this summer.

Being able to count on Laura to know when the next must-attend concert is or where to spot Joe Jonas in any city are important traits, but what I love most about Laura is her adventurous and dream-big spirit. Student council all-nighters and life chats in the Starbucks parking lot are now new restaurants in NYC and easy Amtrak rides up and down the East Coast (look, we made it!!), and I’m just so excited to see where we go next! Oodles of love for my fashionably fabulous, always-there-for-you, girl-boss BFF.
Groomsman
Reid and I go back to his first year at Woodberry as a sophomore and grueling indoor track practices with Coach Monahan. After college, Reid and I reunited as roommates in New York. Between Catan matches, pickleball, and Reid, who is from New York, pointing out the best places to get a slice, it was an awesome two years. Reid can make friends with anyone, and has even been known to wander off with new friends from the bar - I’m just glad to be one of them!
Bridesmaid
Where would I be without my Nana? Probably late to class, dragging my books to the Curry School with no ride. My carpool buddy, later to bed and early to rise, crafty, and capable Anna packs her schedule for her people. Anna bends over backwards for others, checks in often, and shares the greatest content. She is a comuner of people and a lover of challenge - she makes me a better version of myself every time I’m with her and I am so grateful for her servant heart.
Groomsman
Jacob is the ultimate hype man. No one is better at celebrating others, bringing friends together, and making even the mundane a great time. Jacob, like Sarah, has been vacationing with his family in Rehoboth his whole life, and it has been a blast linking up with him in the summers for spikeball on the beach or a night in Dewey. Jacob has been an incredible supporter of Sarah and me and we are so glad he’ll stand by us as we take this next step. Be sure to ask Jacob about his recent adventures in Hawai’i!

I hit the jackpot with Hally as my First Year roomie at UVA. Not only did Hally generously guide me through the first weeks and months of college, she has continued to be a source of light and love since our days of twin bed snuggles and infamous Dunglison struggles. Hally exudes joyfulness. She has never met a stranger and somehow makes every day a party. Her heart is truly bigger than her home state of Texas, and that’s saying something! I can’t wait for H&T to be back stateside.
Groomsman
Sarah and Parker have been best friends since first year at UVA, and I could see why as soon as we met. Parker is the type of friend who really invests his time in the people he cares about. On top of that, our crew has truly been blessed by Parker’s cooking skills - I still have a lot to learn in that department and am very jealous of Parker. Parker is beginning his medical residency this year (becoming our group’s de facto primary care physician), and I know he will make a huge impact.
Junior Bridesmaid
Brilliant, kind, good, and inclusive, I have always been blown away by the way Harper cares for others. Her soft but mighty spirit is the life-blood of our little beach community and she brightens our days with her contagious laugh and friendly smile. I am so happy to know this beautiful soul and am grateful for the years of friendship and Rehoboth fun there is to come!
Groomsman
Another SAE brother (and another Jack), JLew has been a close friend throughout college and our time in New York. Jack is one of a kind. Hilarious and laid back, with highly original dance moves - keep an eye on Lew at the reception. Jack is a great host and has always looked for chances to bring our friends together at UVA and beyond. He also has one of the deadliest corner 3’s you’ll ever see. I’m looking forward to many years of losing to Jack in the future.
Junior Bridesmaid
My firecracker, fashionista friend, Remy, has been filling my life with sparkle and spunk since I met her years ago. Remy’s curiosity and love for others is an example for all who know her, and her inclusive nature truly makes HABC a better place. I’m excited to see where life takes talented Remy, and know that I will always have a dear friend and neighbor in her.
Groomsman
Adin and I also met through SAE and have lived together for the last year in D.C. Adin is a great friend to have in your corner, except for when you have to play him in fantasy football. Adin is one of the most competitive people I know, and his hours of research over the years have given him a stranglehold on our pledge class fantasy league. Having opened for such bands as Kendall Street Company and CBDB, Adin is an excellent keyboard player and can be found most weekends electrifying DuPont Circle with his latest venture. Adin, You’re My Dog.
