What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Shortly before commencement, with ample parking available. The ceremony itself is scheduled to be outdoors, in August, in Texas, so bear with us (hey, if we can handle it, standing up there in all our finery...) Don't worry, the reception is air-conditioned.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please wear something. Men's dresses should be tasteful and cover their scrubby knees. But seriously, dress classy and cool.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Feel free to contact us and we can help you out with that. The Hotel Galvez (on the water) and the Tremont House (our hotel, on The Strand) are particular favorites (both Wyndham properties) but we are still looking to see if there is a good solution for those looking for a group rate. Let us know if anyone has any thoughts (ie, Holiday Inn Express, etc.) We know some are looking at renting houses/BnBs already.

Feel free. The menu is chicken and beef.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
