Think of it as our cultural "kick-off" party! It’s a joyful gathering where guests can get temporary henna tattoos (Mehendi) applied by professional artists. It’s a relaxed way for everyone to mingle, eat pizza, and enjoy a blend of traditions before the formal ceremony.

We recommend using rideshare services like Uber or Lyft for your transportation throughout the weekend. Both the Henna Party and the Wedding Ceremony are easily accessible by rideshare, and this allows everyone to celebrate safely without worrying about parking!

Yes! If you plan on driving, you have two great options: Convenient: Parking is available right at the Downtown Market for $40. Budget-Friendly: You can park for free just across the street in the lot at McConnell Ionia Lot 434 Ionia Ave SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503
