We connected through a dating site. We tried meeting early on but we both travelled a lot that year. 4 months down the road we just planned to meet no matter what when we were both in New York. That Tuesday came, we met in Chelsea and walked to Cookshop for our date. At dinner all I could do was stare at him with a smile whilst he intrigued me with everything he said.
Pasha proposed to Andrew on October 19, 2018. Here's his story: End of October 2018 my family was in town - perfect time to take this big step! Since Andrew loves Disney, I thought of incorporating it in the proposal. So, I bought LEGO Cinderella Castle and it was 4080 piece set! I had to stay late at work for about a week to assemble it and I had several people at work offer their help. When that was done, I placed Mickey in the castle behind the closed doors so that Andrew had to do some work before he knows what it is. Since Cookshop NYC was the place we went to for the first date, I decided to propose there. The staff was great - they helped me with everything and brought out the castle on a huge cutting board right when the dessert was coming! I had several of my best friends and family by my side to make me less nervous (well, couple of bottles of wine too). Since Andrew was not entirely sure what's happening, my sister helped him open the castle gate and he discovered Mickey holding the ring. The real thing was white gold Cartier ring (from their LOVE) collection. Andrew said YES and I was so nervous to put the ring on that I dropped it but it all ended well. The ring was found, placed on Andrew's finger and he's been wearing it all the time ever since!
