Paulina grew up in Mundelein, IL, and Andrew in nearby Grayslake, IL but somehow their paths never crossed until after college. Thanks to a few mutual friends, they were finally introduced, and what started as a friendship quickly turned into something more. The real spark happened on a trip to Nashville. Paulina invited Andrew along to visit her best friend Caitlin, and with a whole crew of hometown and college friends, the weekend was set. Between the live music and late-night laughs, they hit it off and once they got back home, the conversations didn’t stop. By September 2021, Andrew had the perfect plan: a Blake Shelton concert followed by the question (well, the “should we make this official?” version). Paulina obviously said yes, and the rest was history… kind of. After a few fun years in Chicago, the two decided they were ready for a "slower pace" and moved 90 miles north to Milwaukee. It wasn’t long before Milwaukee became home, and one day at Lakeshore State Park, with the city skyline in the background, Andrew got down on one knee and asked Paulina THE question. It was a forever yes. Now they’re here - telling their story, planning their day, and most excitedly, getting ready to celebrate with all of their favorite people.
