We first met in middle school, and we happened to live one street apart. Because we shared a lot of mutual friends, we were always running into each other at school, at neighborhood hangouts, just about everywhere. At first, we were just part of the same group, but over time, we started to develop feelings for each other. We went through high school side by side—growing up, figuring life out together, and building a bond that kept getting stronger. What started as a simple friendship all those years ago has turned into something truly special. And now, here we are, getting ready to say “I do.”
