For guests within driving distance of the venue, there is free on-site parking.

Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors in the park on the island, while cocktail hour and the reception will take place indoors. Guests will walk to the island on a paved pathway, but may need to step on grass briefly to take their seats.

We have reserved a room block at the Holiday Inn Express, 9175 W Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove, CA 95758, USA. Once you click on the link, you can scroll down and update the check-in and check-out dates, as well as select the number of rooms and guests. Under Rate Preference, choose "Easy Wedding", then click View Prices to see all available reduced rates.

Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is the closest airport. The hotel will be easily accessible from SMF via ride share.

Our dress code is semi-formal. We ask that you wear a casual suit and tie. Alternatively, an evening gown or a midi- or knee-length cocktail dress would be appropriate. Please avoid wearing the following colors as to not match with the wedding party: Emerald green, sage green, gold, and white.

Mid-October in Elk Grove, California is generally warm and sunny during the day and cool during the night, so we recommend a light wrap to cover bare shoulders.

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Please note this will be an adults-only celebration. We are only accommodating the children of the wedding party. We hope that you will understand this decision and that you will still be able to join us on our special day.

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 26630 Barton Rd, Redlands, CA, 92373, or bring it to the reception to place at the gift table. A wedding card box will be at our reception as well.

Answer

The venue will open to guests 30 minutes ahead of our ceremony time at 3pm. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 15 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space (located about a 5-minute walk from the parking lot) and find a seat. Please be on time, as the gates will be closed and locked and once the ceremony begins, no late arrivals will be able to enter.

Our reception will end around 10pm, after which there will not be an after-party.

A 30-60-minute cocktail hour will take place on the front lobby of the reception venue after the ceremony, where you can enjoy cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and small bites.
