Our ceremony will be at Tifft Nature Preserve but specifically on the back deck overlooking Lake Kirsty. When you arrive, you may head to the Herb & Jane Darling Education Center (blue building) and there will be signage to direct you to the back deck. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved indoors. The back deck and rain location are accessible to those requiring mobility accommodations.
There is free parking in the visitor lot at Tifft Nature Preserve. If the lot is full, there is free street parking on Fuhrmann Boulevard. Accessible parking will be available, more details to follow based on the construction updates of the Tifft Accessible Trail.
The reception will be at Hydraulic Hearth in Larkinville. Guests may take advantage of the outdoor patio and shuffleboard court if the weather cooperates! Hydraulic Hearth is accessible to those with mobility accommodations. There will be appetizers and pizza catered by Hydraulic Hearth and dessert as well as an open bar. Those with dietary restrictions will be able to let us know upon RSVP so we can make sure that there is something for everyone!
There is free street parking available around Larkinville. There is a small lot on Emslie Street behind the apartment building, but please read signage carefully as many spots are reserved for apartment residents. There is also a small lot behind the Swan Street Diner.
Fall cocktail is our suggestion, but please wear what makes you comfortable. Keep in mind that there will be opportunities to be outdoors so bring a jacket if the weather is chilly.
Tifft Nature Preserve is 3.1 mile away from Hydraulic Hearth so we recommend driving. There are public transportation options as well as rideshares.
To accommodate photos, there is a span of two hours between the end of the ceremony at Tifft and the cocktail hour at Hydraulic Hearth. Luckily, that area is full of amazing bars and restaurants to check out around in Larkinville, so we recommend: Bratts Hill, Meet & Eat Charcuterie, Blue Table Chocolates, Magic Bear Beer Cellar, Flying Bison Brewery, and Buffalo Distilling Company.
