Andrew and Nicole matched on Hinge in June 2022 Andrew's POV: I first came across Nicole’s Hinge profile on a late night drive home from work. She had such a cute face, long curly hair, and interesting prompts. I knew I wanted to wait until I was home before shooting my shot. However, once home the app refreshed and her profile was gone! I thought that was that and went to bed. The following day I attended a bachelor party. While on the party bus, I opened the app on a whim, and lo and behold, Nicole’s profile was back! So before hopping off the bus for the next activity, I sent her a message. When climbing back onto the bus, I saw that she replied! So this went on for the rest of the day where I would send her a message in-between bachelor party activities. The day after, I was working a small farmers market. While It was still a busy day, I had a bit more time to dedicate to woo-ing Nicole. That same day, the donut shop won an award from the market organizers. As they were taking videos for their IG story, you can see me buried in my phone, texting Nicole. Needless to say, things took off after that! Nicole's POV: Andrew popped up on my screen and I was impressed with his response to one of my prompts. It was a decent and thoughtful answer filled with emojis :D so he piqued my interest. When I checked out his profile, the first pic was of him and his family, so my first thought was like, “oh cool he’s a family man”. I scrolled down and then one other pic was him holding a stack of cash next to his ear LOL. We started messaging each other shortly after we matched. Since he kept my interest I gave him my number first. Anyway, they continued texting, made it to a phone call, and that led to them going on a first date to AYCE KBBQ at Ryuu Asian BBQ in Logan Square. Then, they went to Hopleaf in Andersonville and walked around the neighborhood. When they tried to go to another bar, Andrew couldn't find his wallet so they retraced their steps from their long walk until they luckily found his wallet! The rest is history
