Question
Will this wedding be outdoor or indoor?
Answer
The wedding will take place at the Mt. Echo Park pavilion, and thus will be mainly outdoors. If there is inclement weather there will be tents and the cover of the pavilion. As the wedding will be in May, the evening may be chilly and if you are susceptible to the cold it is advised that you bring a jacket.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Answer
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. Additionally, as this is a small wedding for close family and friends, and will not have a traditional "wedding party"- we would like to invite you to dress in our wedding colors (shades of blue or purple) so that everyone in attendance can be part of our "wedding party". If purple and blue aren't your colors, that's fine too. This is just a symbolic way for us to acknowledge our close relationships with our guests and to thank you for attending our wedding.

Is parking available? If so, is it free?
Answer
Yes, there is a parking lot available just past the pavilion, and it is free. We do ask that if possible you do not park in front of the pavilion, as it will obstruct the view and make pictures more difficult.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
No, but there will be select beer and wine provided.

Are kids welcome at the wedding?
Answer
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
Answer
March 20th. You can RSVP online.

Answer
We have a block of rooms at the Hilton Netherland Plaza hotel. There is a discount code in the travel section of this website.

Are the weekend events that you have listed complimentary?
Answer
No, the wedding weekend events are an optional way to spend time with the bride and groom for guests who wish to do so. While we hope you will choose to come and celebrate with us, we understand if you choose not to.
