Please RSVP by Friday, September 5th.
Starved Rock’s address is 2688 E 875th Rd, Oglesby, Illinois 61348. You can use this link to view the location in Google Maps. Once you arrive, head towards the cabins and follow the path to the ceremony location. The reception will be inside the lodge. https://maps.app.goo.gl/jSyApDG1grHQjbYn9?g_st=ipc
There is free on-site parking.
Our evening ceremony will be outdoors overlooking the canyon, while cocktail hour and the reception will take place indoors. Guests will walk to the canyon overlook on paved pathways. Seating for the ceremony will be on stone/concrete. There is grass surrounding the area, but walking through it is not necessary, therefore stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are perfectly fine.
Due to October being the busiest month of the year for Starved Rock, we have a limited number of rooms available at Starved Rock and will be reaching out to individuals to offer those to guests. We have listed hotels in the area under Travel on the Zola website. If you wish to stay at Starved Rock, please reach out to one of us and we will do our best to accommodate you.
We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.
We love your children, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under age 18 on our wedding day unless they were specifically addressed on the invitation.
Our Penne Primavera is our vegan meal option and gluten free upon request. If you are gluten intolerant, please state so upon choosing a meal option when you RSVP. Our cocktail hour appetizers will also all be clearly marked if they are allergy friendly (and there will be multiple allergy-friendly options). If you have additional restrictions that go beyond what we've listed here, please let us know in the designated section of your digital RSVP. We want you to feel comfortable and well fed!
There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception, however, we do recommend bringing cash if you wish to tip the bar tender.
You can find our complete wedding registry here on our website (and purchase directly from our wish list) under "Registry" tab.
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home. If you need our address, please contact one of us and we will be happy to provide it. A wedding card box will be at our reception.
Our wedding will take place at Starved Rock on October 5, 2025. The ceremony will begin at 5 pm sharp. Followed by cocktail hour and the reception, which is anticipated to wrap around 11 pm.
The doors will open one hour ahead of our ceremony time at 4 pm. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space (about a 5-minute walk from the parking lot) and find a seat.
A 60-minute cocktail hour will take place inside the lodge between the ceremony and reception where you can enjoy cocktails, mocktails, and small bites.
There will be a rehearsal dinner on Saturday evening for the wedding party and parents of the bride and groom. On Monday morning, there will be a farewell breakfast and hike for the wedding party and immediate family of the bride and groom.
Guests are allowed to take photos during the ceremony; we kindly ask that you turn off your flash.
Kindly contact the groom at (630) 806.6478 or the bride at (815) 508.2199 with any further questions ahead of the wedding.
