Question

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Yes! Please let us know whether you will be attending OR unable to make it, by July 31st.

Question

When do I need to respond?

Answer

We need to provide a headcount to our venue no later than August 1st. Please get back to us before then.

Question

What happens if I don't RSVP?

Answer

While we would love for you to join us, if you do not let us know that you will be attending we will unfortunately be unable to accommodate you. Our venue requires a final count in August in order to reserve the right number of tables, seating arrangements and food.

What type of clothes should I wear?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Outdoor ceremony/indoor reception. No need to rent or buy suits or gowns. Please refrain from wearing jeans, sneakers or shorts.

What time should I show up?

Answer

Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony. Ceremony starts at 5pm.

Where is the wedding registry?

Answer

We are using Honeyfund for our registry. Allegedly, there aren't any fees... Anyways, you can see this information under the "Registry" tab.

Food?

Answer

There will be a buffet style food options. We are going with pasta, meat, potatoes, and veggies. In addition a charcuterie board will be available to snack on. If you have certain dietary restrictions, please let Andrew know, and he will work with you on solutions.

Are plus-ones allowed?

Answer

Due to cost, we are limiting the guest list to those listed on the invitation.

Are children allowed to be plus-ones?

Answer

We are only planning on hosting adults.

What is the wedding day itinerary?

Answer

The wedding day itinerary is located under the "Schedule" tab. In short, things kick off at 5pm, then there is a cocktail hour followed by dinner and dancing.

Is it okay to post images on social media?

Answer

We respectfully request that photos of our event are kept private, unless permission is provided in advance.

Is there parking?

Answer

Yes! Lots!

Indoor or Outdoor?

Answer

Both! The ceremony will be outside on the lawn. While the reception and dinner will be inside the outbuilding.

Can I go into the Moore Mansion?

Answer

The venue coordinator has told us only the bridal party (minus the groomsman) are allowed in the mansion the day of the wedding. If you would like to see the inside, the venue coordinator will be happy to schedule a viewing at a later point.

How will the weather be?

Answer

Early October in the Tri-Cities will be warm during the day and cool at night, so we recommend a light wrap to cover bare shoulders and sunglasses for the outdoor ceremony. Once we move inside, there will be more heat, but we are unsure of the exact forecast. Please check before packing.

Question

Can I stay at your house?

Answer

No. Due to wedding preparations, we have decided not to offer accommodations at our home. We kindly request you book your own lodging.

Have you saved blocks of rooms at a hotel?

Answer

No. We have contacted several hotels around the Pasco airport. While were unable to obtain traditional room blocking we did get a discounted rate for one of them. Please refer to the "Travel" tab for more details.

Question

Can I visit the Porters residence?

Answer

Yes. We are going to host a barbeque at our home on October 9th from 3 to 7 pm. While this is targeted at the individuals that are visiting from out of town everyone is welcome. We ask that you RSVP to ensure that there is enough food.
