Mikala’s Perspective: I met Andrew on Christian Mingle after feeling led to join for a long time. I decided to give it a try with no expectations, just to see what might come of it. Andrew was the first person I met, only a few days after joining the app and I was excited by all that we had in common like a love of music and a desire to serve in ministry. After our second date I knew that I wanted to invest my time in getting to know him. It wasn’t long before I knew I wanted to spend my life with him. Getting to know Andrew has been my favorite adventure. It didn't take long for me to know that I wanted to spend my life with him. Getting to know his character made me certain that I wanted to be with him; his kindness, loyalty, work ethic, dedication to serving God and others, and how trustworthy he is. Andrew’s Perspective: Months before I met Mikala, I found myself questioning why God had me where I was; 26 years old, just finished my education, unable to find a job in my field, still lived with my parents, and single. After several months with no change, I decided to surrender each of these areas to God and use my time to serve Him. BINGO! That’s what He was waiting for. Before I knew it, I was offered a job in my field, was able to move out, and met Mikala. Mikala and I met on a 4-hour coffee date after connecting through Christian Mingle. I was drawn to her love for Jesus, ministry, worship, and her identity being routed in Christ. Immediately following our first date, I went straight to my parent’s and said, “I think she’s the one”. God made it clear to me what I needed to look for in my future wife, and I saw every single one of those qualities and more in Mikala. Mikala being in my life has helped me see how God’s timing and plan for my life is perfect. I am so in love with Mikala and am blessed that I get to be the one to share in her life story.
