These two shall be joined as one

This my story about life full circle... I don’t usually post things like this on FB but today I just felt like it...Met this girl back in HS in Brooklyn over 25 years ago...who has developed into this magnificent woman....we hung out around the way kicking it...had a little crush on her but never told her....she disappeared and moved away...I came back looking for her but her dad said she no longer lived there...disappointed. Years go by and I see shorty who looks like her at the gas station WAWA in Virginia..said to myself that can’t be Head and Shoulder ( that’s what I use to call her in HS) but it was ....I caught her attention and immediately we greeted each with a hug....then...she drove off...caught each other up with our lives via FB...once in a while would give each other a shout out... I was in a relationship she was married, we both have kids...etc etc. Then years went by and both of our situations had changed ...I was no longer in a relationship and she unfortunately at the time was going through her own situation with her marriage....she encouraged me to continue to look and accept love and I tried to encouraged her to work through whatever she was dealing with...But...when she decided that it was best for her to move on I was sorry she had to go through that ....not sorry anymore....our friendship developed into something that I never experienced in my 40 plus years of life...she has been and will ALWAYS be the love of my life... you inspire me...you have shown me what unconditional love is and I just want to say thank you for that

Life and past relationship experiences has been a good teacher....it has taught me how to love, appreciate, respect and understand not just others but more importantly myself. It has taught me how to compromise and when to stand fast. And then you came along... you taught me that the definition of a strong woman doesn’t necessarily mean that I need to prove to myself or anyone else that I can do it all by myself. A strong woman is knowing when she has a strong man by her side and allowing him to be just that... a strong, supportive, and loving man. I appreciate you and all that you have shown me...you are the definition of unconditional love.
