Question

What precautions are we taking with COVID-19?

Answer

We cannot wait to have our favorite people together in one place! That said, we will follow CDC and Maine COVID-19 guidelines (https://www.maine.gov/covid19/) and will update this page as necessary. Based on the country's roll out, we fully anticipate everyone will be vaccinated by the wedding. Please note that this will be an outdoor ceremony and reception, and we are keeping attendance below 75 people.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

July 31 or sooner.

Question

Are there other places to stay on Chebeague Island?

Answer

Yes, but rentals are limited on the island. Please see Airbnb, VRBO, and doing a hotel search through google maps for private property options. There are also plenty of options in Portland. Please note the ferry schedule for planning purposes. Also note that hotels book early during the high tourist season in Portland (July/August).

Question

I have a boat.

Answer

That's not a question, but yes, bring your boat! Moorings are on a first-come, first-serve, basis at the Inn. There is no charge for use of the mooring by Inn guests and by restaurant customers. However, there is a $25.00 fee per night for the overnight use of a mooring by anyone who is not an Inn guest; such overnight use begins at 9:00 p.m. and ends at 11:00 a.m. the following morning. Before tying up to a mooring, the boater shall contact the Front Desk by calling the Inn at (207) 846-5155; mooring assignments are based on boat size and availability. If transport between the mooring and Stone Wharf is required, the Front Desk can arrange for the Inn's launch service to pick-up the passengers. Launch driver gratuities are welcomed.

Question

Casco Bay Lines just dropped me off at Chandler's Cove on Chebeague Island, now what?

Answer

The Inn has a 10-passenger van that can be used for guests on a first-come, first-serve basis. Driver gratuities are welcomed.

Question

What is there to do on Chebeague Island?

Answer

There are beaches including a sand bar to Little Chebeague Island, bikes provided by the Inn, lawn games, golf, tennis, a small museum, a general store, and a few places to eat!
