Question

Should I rent a car?

Answer

You can get around Inlet Beach, Seaside, and Rosemary Beach (30A) without a rental car, but it depends on how much flexibility you want. Seaside and Rosemary Beach are extremely pedestrian-friendly. Most shops, restaurants, and beaches are within walking distance. Bike rentals are very popular—bike paths connect most of 30A’s communities. You can rent for a day or the whole week Public / Shared Transport Shuttle services run along 30A during peak season (spring/summer). Some areas offer trolley or jitney services connecting towns like Seaside, Rosemary, Grayton Beach, and Inlet Beach. When a Car Helps Inlet Beach is a little spread out, especially if you want to explore beaches east or west of 30A. If staying mainly in Seaside, Rosemary, or central Inlet Beach, you don’t really need a car.

Where should i stay?

Answer

There are lots of hotels & airbnb's in the area!! Vacation rentals/Airbnb are more common and typically a better fit for most 30A trips — especially families, groups, and beach lovers who want space and flexibility. Hotels work well for couples or shorter stays where service and convenience matter more.
