It all began at the very place where we’ll say “I do.” Yes — we first met at our wedding venue during a beautiful celebration of love. Little did we know that day would mark the beginning of our own journey together. In a twist of fate (or maybe just divine planning), Marly caught the bouquet at that very wedding — a sweet foreshadowing of what was to come. Our friendship blossomed through our shared passion for giving back, especially while serving in Scouts. Countless meetings, events, and late-night planning sessions turned into conversations filled with laughter, support, and something undeniably special. Fast forward to February 22, 2022 — our very first date. It was simple, sweet, and unforgettable. And as if that date wasn’t magical enough, we got engaged on September 8, 2024 — the 8th, just like that day in February, coming full circle. Along the way, we’ve taught each other so much. Marly introduced Andrew to the world of playing tennis — and by "play" we mean “try not to hit the ball over the fence.” He proudly claims he now has a decent backhand thanks to her. Andrew, in return, turned Marly into a foodie, dragging her (happily) from street tacos to Asian food. She now bravely eats things with ingredients she can’t pronounce. She took him to his first concert, and he brought her to her first comedy show — where the only thing louder than the laughter was the love growing between us. Now, we’re stepping into forever together — and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this next chapter with the people who mean the most.
