Why didn't you wait to get married?
Answer
We respect that every relationship follows its own timeline, but for us, there was no reason to delay the inevitable just for a big celebration. With half our bridal party expecting babies between February and June, we also knew a celebration with our closest friends wouldn’t be possible until much later in the year! With our families' blessing and the wisdom of pre-engagement counseling, we knew in our hearts—it was time. We simply couldn’t wait to live together, be one, and honor God with our union.

You're already married - so why have another wedding?
Answer
We like to think of this as a 'happily ever after' celebration! We had a small elopement ceremony with our immediate families in February, but we always planned to celebrate this joyful milestone with the many people who have touched our lives.

When should I RSVP?

While sooner is always better, we ask that you please RSVP by no later than August 5, 2025!

Where should I stay?
Answer
Quail Creek offers 14 inn suites on-site, but these will fill up fast. For other options, please check our 'Travel' page, where we've compiled a list of recommended Airbnbs, VRBOs, and hotels in both Huntsville and Hartselle to suit your needs.

How do I get to and from the venue?
Answer
Quail Creek Resort is located in Hartselle, about a 40-minute drive from Huntsville. If you're staying nearby without a car, Uber and Lyft are great rideshare options. Let us know if you need any assistance!

What about parking?
Answer
Free parking is available at the venue. Please follow the signs to park at the Chapel when you arrive. The reception will take place on the same property, just a short two-minute drive away at the Grand Pavilion.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Due to venue capacity and guest limitations, we’re unable to offer a plus one to everyone. If your invitation did not include a plus one, we kindly ask for your understanding. However, if you feel we may have unintentionally left someone important out, please reach out to us!

Can I bring my children?
Answer
Due to venue capacity and guest limitations, we’re only able to include certain children in our guest count. If your invitation did not specify children, we kindly ask that you make other arrangements for the little ones. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

What if I have a dietary restriction?
Answer
We want all of our guests to enjoy the celebration, including the food! If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP. We’re still finalizing the menu and will do our best to provide options that suit everyone's needs.

Will the service and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Both the service and reception will be indoors! We will begin with a service in the Chapel on the property, and then migrate over to the Grand Pavilion (by walking or golf cart for those who require) for our reception.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
While the weather is always a bit unpredictable, you can generally expect warm and moderately humid conditions in Alabama. Average highs are around 83°F (28.5°C), with lows near 64°F (17.8°C).

What should I wear?
Answer
We love an excuse to dress up! Our dress code is elevated cocktail attire — elegant dresses and suits encouraged. Most importantly, wear what makes you feel your best! It’s a short walk from the chapel to the reception area if you prefer not to drive (and of course, there will be dancing!). We recommend comfortable shoes or a smaller heel for the ladies.

Yes, we do! As we’ve recently tied the knot, we’re still combining our lives (and our home!), so we’ve curated registries to help us get started on this exciting new chapter.
