Rome
If you arrive in Rome, you can either fly or take the train to Fasano: BY TRAIN: From Rome (Roma Termini Station) take the 4 hour direct train to Bari Centrale. This line is direct, there are no changes. From there, if you are not renting a car, there is a 40 minute regional train out of Bari Centrale that will take you to Fasano. BY PLANE: From Rome, you can take a nonstop short flight (1-1.5 hour) directly to Bari or Brindisi Airports.

Bari & Brindisi Airports
If you arrive at either Bari or Brindisi Airports: We would highly recommend renting a car as the train stations are not close to the airports or city centers. However, if you prefer to travel by train there is a regional train line that runs from Bari Airport to Bari Centrale Station. From Bari Centrale, you will need to take another short regional train to take you to Fasano.

Car Rentals
We would recommend renting a car for this weekend as it is easiest way to get around in this area, especially if you plan to explore the towns in the Puglia Region. Cabs can be unreliable and more expensive, and Ubers are nonexistent. You can rent cars at both airports or near Bari Centrale train station. *Online it states that an International Driving License is required for Italy, you can find more information on this with the link below.*
