Question
Is there a reception after the ceremony?
Answer
No. I want it to be clear that Friday, July 14 is a ceremony ONLY. The reception will be the following day, July 15, in La Grange, KY. We totally understand the difficulty of traveling for a short event, but we would love to have as many of you at the ceremony as possible. It is also totally okay to choose just the ceremony on Friday or just the reception on Saturday. We give grace and have appreciation for those celebrating us from afar. <3

What is the dress code for each event?
Answer
The ceremony on Friday will be formal/cocktail attire. Reception attire for Saturday IS CASUAL. We will be outside playing games, getting sweaty and potentially dirty. There is area indoors that will be air conditioned, but remember this is in the heat of July. We want you all to be as comfy as possible and dressed ready to play if you choose to.

Will there be food at the reception on Saturday?
Answer
Yes! We will be catering from City BBQ and dinner will be served from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

How do I know if I have a plus one?
Answer
We have anticipated plus ones for our invited guests and have included that in our total number. When you RSVP via the website, your added guest/plus one will be included. If you have any questions, reach out to Mackenzie or Andrew to let us know :)
Question
What if I can't be there for the entire reception on Saturday (coming late or leaving early)?
Answer
The Family Union Reception Party is a come and go as you please event. The venue has been reserved from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm. If you cannot be there until after dinner, no worries. If you need to leave early because you are coming from out of town, that is totally okay. We are happy to celebrate with everyone for any amount of time.

Will there be alcohol at the reception?

Yes! We will provide a selection of beer and seltzers. Come ready to celebrate!
