We first met in the Summer of 2015, when Andrew spotted Mackenzie through the window at Earthbound Trading Company and went in to apply for a job. Neither of us could have known that this chance encounter would be the start of an incredible romance. After working together, becoming friends and eventually hanging out, we went on our first official date on June 25th, 2016 for bagels at Feldman's. The following months after that first date were filled with typical new relationship jitters. We met each others families, explored Vermont together and listened to countless hours of music. We loved combining our friend groups, showing each other little pieces of ourselves, and laughing at the things that the other didn't know. Andrew showed Mackenzie niche music and classic movies she somehow hadn't seen, while Mackenzie filled him in on all things Disney and romcoms and middle school pop music. The decade that followed that first chance encounter has been full of countless adventures, laughter and love. From hiking the mountains of Vermont, moving to Brooklyn and travelling the world, each new adventure and hardship has brought us closer together. On Valentine's Day 2023 during a trip to Colorado for a friend's wedding, Andrew finally asked Mackenzie to marry him on top of a giant boulder at Garden of the Gods. A private moment, only witnessed by Madi and Forrest, was well worth the wait. On June 20th, 2025 we exchanged vows in a private ceremony on Parson's Beach in Maine. The day was full of so much joy spent in the simple pleasure of being in a loved place with each other. This first year of marriage has been everything we hoped, we continue to grow together, get closer and share incredible adventures. We first came to Monhegan in the summer of 2021 with Raegan, and it quickly became one of our favorite places on earth. We are so grateful to Raegan for sharing her little slice of heaven with us, and we are so excited to share the magic of the island with our loved ones as we celebrate our love!
