Andrew and Lynee met at a gender reveal for Andrew’s rugby team mate and Lynee’s Bud Light girl in San Antonio. The two were both unsure if they would even make the event. Still, Andrew drove from Austin and Lynee made the drive from Killeen. At the end of the weekend Deyton asked Lynee if she thought anyone at the party was cute. She replied “I thought the filipino dude with the dad car was pretty cute”. Deyton then says “HE WAS OBSESSED WITH YOU”. Lynee said “ I’m going to add him on Facebook and he’s going to be SHOOK”. Andrew went back to Austin for work and at the end of the work day and talks about Lynee to his coworkers. During his work break he finds the friend request and was of course SHOOK. They converse for a week until their first date watching Lion King Live Action and then going to Egos Kareoke Bar. They sang Like I’m Gonna Lose You by Meghan Trainor and John Legend. This was the moment Andrew knew she was the one. The moment Lynee knew was when she opened up to her sister and said “I think this is it”.

Andrew proposed to Lynee on a bucketlist hike at Zion National Park in Utah. Lynee thought that this was a birthday trip for her older brother who originally suggested we go to Enchanted Rock. Her sister being a spontaneous person suggested they all go to Zion because she wanted to hike the narrows. On top of a rock with a beautiful view Andrew got down on one knee. A two year engagement later here they are.
