When is the RSVP deadline?

Kindly RSVP by October 18th so we can finish the seating plan and make sure there is plenty of food!

Can I bring my children to the wedding?

Absolutely! We love kids, and your whole family is invited.

Where is the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will be held at the Odessa Foursquare Church in Odessa WA.

Where is the reception?
Answer
The reception will be held at the Odessa Community Center (about a block from the church).
Question
Where should we park?
Answer
There is primarily street parking around the church and community center. There will be some extra parking at the park on the east side of the church, as well as at the north and east sides of the community center. Both ceremony and reception locations are within a block of each other. We recommend parking and walking instead of trying to re-park after the ceremony! We will have a few spots reserved at the main entrance to the church for anyone who prefers to be dropped off or needs some additional assistance!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony/post on social media?
Answer
Please refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony and just soak in the moment! We have a talented photographer, and we want all of the guest photos to be of your happy faces and not your phones. Please take lots of pictures during the reception and share them with us! We don't mind if you post to social media - just make sure we look good ;-)

Have you reserved hotel room blocks?
Answer
No, we have not. Unfortunately, there are only a few lodging options in Odessa. We recommend making reservations in Ritzville, Moses Lake, or Ephrata - as those will have the most options!

What if I have dietary restrictions?
Answer
We are planning the menu to be as flexible as possible. If you are concerned about the options - please reach out to Lorna and she will be happy to answer any questions you may have!

What should we wear?
Answer
Please dress up in anything that brings you joy! Do you have a fancy dress or favorite suit you don't get to wear very often? Those are good options! Most people will be wearing something between "church" clothes and semi formal.

What time should we arrive?
Answer
Please plan on arriving in Odessa by about 2:30. It may take a few minutes to find parking and walk to the church! The ceremony will start at 3pm. If you arrive after the ceremony has started - we ask that you wait to find seats until after the bride walks down the aisle.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We have tried to account for all plus ones on the invitations. If your invitation does not specify a guest - please reach out to us to ask specifically!

What will be happening after the ceremony?
Answer
Immediately after the ceremony the bride and groom will be taking a few minutes to sign their marriage license. Please gather outside of the main entrance to the church for a fun church exit (a chance to toss some things in the air) once they are finished. Afterwards - everyone can travel down the block to the reception for some snacky foods while the bride and groom get a few more pictures together!

Will alcohol be served?
Answer
We are choosing to not serve alcohol at the reception for a few reasons. Instead - we will have a fun hot drinks bar and a mug to take home with you!
