Flight
There is no airport in St. John - it's nice and quiet - so you'll have to fly into St. Thomas and take a ferry over to Cruz Bay.
Travel Note
Two boats ferry people from St. Thomas to St. John and back. One leaves from Charlotte Amalie and is a shorter taxi to the dock, but a longer boat ride. The Red Hook ferry is a longer ride to the dock, but a shorter ferry. The link above will have the schedule and rates - we recommend buying tickets in advance - but make sure to look over the schedules. The Red Hook ferry leaves every hour, while Charlotte Amalie has far fewer departure times.

House Or Rental
There are plenty of other accommodations on the island, from house rentals to hotels. If you're interested in staying somewhere other than the WV or Gallows Point, contact Michelle from Paradise Planning (michelle@paradiseplanningusvi.com) and she can help with find you a room. When reaching out to Michelle, please let her know that you are guests of our wedding, the number of guests in your party and your planned travel dates.
Rental Car
We recommend renting a car, as you'll need it to get around the island. We've used Courtesy Car & Jeep Rental before (and liked it a lot), but there are plenty more rental companies on the island. Aqua Blu Car Rental, Mr. Piper's Jeeps and St. John Car Rental all came highly recommended. You can even rent a car in St. Thomas and take the car ferry to St. John.
Travel Note
You do not need a passport to visit the US Virgin Islands, but if you do plan on traveling outside of the USVI you will need one.
