I don’t know how this love relationship began, but now that we have it, it’s hard to think of our lives without it. We worked for the same juvenile facility, but in different departments. Andrew asked around about me and of course he got teased for it. That did not deter his faith in trying to ask me on date. One day he asked me on a date to my surprise. I thought he was just being kind, but little did I know that he would be my future fiancé and soon to be husband. I always thought that he was nice, cute and he had very good work ethics, qualities which I really liked and admire about him. The first date was all it took, and we were hooked. That date convinced me to dive deeper in my prayer life. I wanted to make sure that he was the one God had for me. I continued to pray that Andrew was the “Boaz” for me, and everyday God has revealed that Andrew is the one for me. All I can say is that I love Andrew Rufus Jones II and I’m in love with Andrew Rufus Jones II, both now and until Christ takes us home. What attracts me the most to him is that he makes me laugh and give me encouraging words when I need to be uplifted. He makes me think outside of the box in every situation we are in or I have gone through. His love for me is so strong that he asked me to be his wife. I thank God for treasuring us enough to have each other. Every day I pray that God continues to bless our relationship and protect us from those who may come against us. I pray that God continues to bless us both in our engagement and in our marriage.
