In 2021, Andrew’s best friend (and Lauren’s brother) Ryan decided on a night out that the two of us would be the perfect match. He pitched the idea to Andrew, and in April of that year, Ryan brought us together on his party bus where Andrew realized he wanted to ask Lauren out. Andrew made the trip to Kansas City, where Lauren was living, and took her on a date. Our first date was spent exploring KC, but ultimately it was decided the timing just wasn’t right. (Foreshadowing: Lauren ended up being very wrong about this.) Fast forward to July 2023, and guess who had a change of heart? Lauren decided to ask Andrew out this time. We had our second first date at the botanical gardens, and from that moment on, we were inseparable. We officially started dating in September 2023, moved in together in March 2024, bought a house in June 2024, got engaged in January 2025, and welcomed our sweet baby girl, Ella, in September 2025. We like to take things slow… you know, two first dates, a house, an engagement, and a baby — all before the wedding. We couldn’t be more excited to get married and celebrate with all of our favorite people!
