Lauren needed a date to the senior Delta Zeta formal. Our mutual friend Dani Deering told Lauren that she should take Andrew as her date. Lauren asked Andrew to formal with a letter and a bottle of whiskey without ever meeting him in person. A few drinks and many chicken fingers later, Lauren and Andrew developed a crush on one another. Years later and lots of exchanges snapchats, Lauren and Andrew started officially dating and the rest was history!

Andrew planned a hike for just the two of them on Lauren’s family trip in Kauai. After 4 long miles with lots of sweat, running streams, and Andrew almost falling off a cliff (saving himself by grabbing onto a rock), they made it to Hanakapi’ai Falls. After a picnic lunch, Andrew asked Lauren to marry him under the waterfall!
