How We Met!

What brought us together is a special place that's forever dear to our hearts—Gardner-Webb University. It wasn’t anything flashy or scripted, just the quiet, faithful weaving of our paths by the Lord’s hand. The invisible strings tying us together may have seemed ordinary at first—classes, campus events, mutual friends—but looking back, we see how God’s grace was in every detail. In the most unexpected and beautiful ways, He was writing our love story long before we realized it. Now, we get to continue that story—side by side. From our first hangout together at a random karaoke night in Charlotte to the many dates and vacations we've spent together, we've found that we are each other's best friend, and a life without one another is unfathomable.

Where Are We From?

Kyndal is from a small town called Gaffney, South Carolina. It is about an hour from Greenville, SC, and about an hour from Charlotte, NC. Gaffney is right on the SC/NC border. Andrew grew up in Terre Haute, Indiana. He lived there until his high school years. He then went to Cathedral High School to wrestle. He spent his high school years living in Fishers, Indiana. We then met at Gardner-Webb University, located in the one-stoplight town of Boiling Springs, NC. We were friends first, and then started to date sophomore year of college.

When Did We Get Engaged?

Andrew proposed on June 7, 2025, at Dover Chapel on the Gardner-Webb University campus. It was one of the best days of our lives! Andrew was nervous and did not get any sleep. Kyndal cried the whole time! It could not have been more perfect.
