Bride
"Hunny, I'm not writing a bio about myself, it's our fucking wedding"

To Krista: I couldn’t be more excited for our day and the start of forever with you. You are the love of my life—and I love you endlessly. To my Dad: I wish you were here to celebrate with us today. I can already hear you saying what you always did every time I came home: "I told you." You were right—and yes, it’s just like that old GM or Ford commercial. It starts with a guy buying a sports car asking, “Is it fast?” The commercial progresses with him selling his car to purchase a house with his new bride Years later, he's buying a minivan asking, “Is it safe?” Well Dad, I guess I found my minivan moment. And she’s perfect. To my friends: I love you all—and I’m beyond pumped that you're making the trek to Spain. I know international travel isn’t light work, but let’s be honest: A lot of people would describe me as a degenerate gambling alcoholic. Those same people would also tell you… they’ve never had a bad time when I’m around. So if nothing else, I can guarantee you this: it's gonna be one hell of a party. With love and deep gratitude, AK
Best Man
John and I met during my time at Siemens Energy and became fast friends—bonding over our shared love for investing, options trading, traveling, and hunting down a decent $10 bottle of wine. Since then, we’ve traveled the world together, creating countless unforgettable memories along the way. Don’t let John’s looks fool you—he’s still wet behind the ears… at heart, anyway. Favorite memory with John? That has to be our wild adventure in Austin, Texas, 2023 to watch Matty Race. Just ask John—actually, it might be better to ask his wife Carol, since she was probably the only one coherent enough to remember what happened at Pete’s Piano Bar. But in case John’s already forgotten, here’s a refresher: He lost a shoe somewhere between the bar and the dance floor. Leaned on the bar wall for support half the night. And somehow thought opening the door of an Uber going 75 MPH down the freeway was a brilliant idea. Classic John—and honestly, classic us.

Some friendships stick with you for life—and mine with Matty is one of them. We met in high school, bonded over hockey, and quickly became brothers in all the best (and worst) ways. More than just a friend, Matty actually gave me my first real start in my career—something I’ll always be incredibly grateful for. It’s been an honor to watch him build a business, grow into the man he is today, and absolutely tear it up on the racetrack. Favorite Memory with Matt? Hands down: the time we “found” a keg that mysteriously fell off the back of a truck (probably stolen from the first area). Matt picks me—and the keg—up, and we make a mad dash to his lake house. In true race car driver fashion, Matt drives like a man possessed. The keg? Shaken like a paint can. It produced nothing but foam all night. Frustrated and fueled by rage (and foam), Matt hucks the keg off the balcony… where it lands squarely on some poor kid’s car. At that point in life, Matt’s temper had its own zip code. Thankfully, marriage and the calming presence of Laurie—his amazing wife and my long-lost sister—have helped center his formerly cocky ass.

I had the great pleasure of meeting Kevin in the basement of a questionably legal dive bar in Elmira, NY. Shortly after… some guy tragically died in that very basement. No connection was ever made—thankfully for Kevin. (Though to this day, I’m not sure he’s fully cleared his name.) Favorite memory with Kevin? Easily our many legendary trips to Atlantic City. Highlights include: Getting randomly adopted by a mysterious dude with a bodyguard, solely because of our craps table skills. The glorious birth of the Rock Lobhhhsttaa. At least 47 quotes from Old Gregg. And a running list of other stories we probably shouldn’t put in writing. Kevin’s the kind of guy you can always count on—especially when you need someone to split a hotel room with questionable stains on the carpet.

Spady and I go way back—middle school to be exact. Our friendship has always had a strong foundation: sarcasm, competition, and most importantly, golf. Believe it or not, in 2012, Spady trusted me to carry his clubs in the New York State Amateur at Bethpage Black. We didn’t make the cut… but we did make memories (and some questionable club choices). Favorite memory with Spady? Bethpage is up there, no doubt—but more recently, we teamed up for the Member-Guest Tournament at the club and somehow clawed our way to a 2nd place finish. The weekend was peak golf chaos: Spady opens with a smooth 32-40 I respond with a bold 39-52 Truly no rhyme or reason—just golf doing golf things. During the shootout, we left it all on the course. On the final hole, with the match on the line, Spady stripes his tee shot directly on top a brick retaining wall, and I launch mine so far right, I’m pretty sure it needed a passport. We ended up conceding the match—but the run? Unforgettable.

I met Marcus back in high school, but honestly, our story began long before that. Our dads were best friends, and that friendship carried over to us like some sacred, slightly chaotic tradition. Favorite memory with Marcus? First: We were in high school when we got assigned a little weekend project—tearing out 600 square feet of tile at my dad’s house. We put in the sweat, the labor, the sore backs... and at the end? Marcus got paid. I didn’t. In fact, the idea of me being paid wasn’t even brought up. Apparently, I was just part of the house. We still laugh about it to this day. To make matters worse, Marcus has now fully adopted my dad’s project style—meaning I show up early, bring the tools, and finish 80% of the job before Marcus even rolls out of bed. Second: A picture-perfect day on the nicest boat I’ve ever stepped foot on—completely derailed by an unexpected digestive betrayal. Yes, it was a full-blown, no-warning shart. Yes, it went straight through my boxers and swim trunks. And yes—it left a very real, very permanent mark on the boat’s white leather seats. Whether we’re covered in dust, or full-blown gastrointestinal regret, Marcus has always been someone I can count on—to show up fashionably late, contribute just enough to claim credit, and still be the brother I never officially had, but somehow couldn’t imagine life without.
Officiant
Ken isn’t just our wedding officiant—he’s family. Ken and my dad were lifelong best friends, and I’ve been lucky enough to be like an adopted son to him. He’s been a constant source of wisdom, humor, and strength throughout my life, and someone I’ve always looked up to. Having him stand with us on our wedding day means the world to us, and we couldn’t imagine anyone better to help us begin this next chapter.
Maid of Honor
It’s hard to put into words what my sisters mean to me, but if you know my family, you know they’ve both been my partners-in-crime, my confidantes, and my biggest cheerleaders since day one. From childhood adventures—some of which are probably best left unmentioned—to late-night life talks, they’ve been there through it all, with loyalty, laughter, and just the right amount of sass to keep me humble. As we’ve grown into adults, I’ve had the joy of watching them build their own families and marriages, and it’s been incredible to see the love, patience, and strength they bring to every stage of life. Somehow, despite all the chaos and questionable decisions along the way, they still manage to make life brighter, funnier, and a lot more fun. There’s truly no one else I’d rather have standing beside me on one of the most important days of my life… even if it means reliving a few of those adventures along the way.
Maid of Honor
Is it okay to have three maids of honor? Who cares—we’re doing it anyway! Caitlyn and I have been best friends since Kindergarten, which basically means we’ve survived 25+ years of shared chaos, questionable fashion choices, and way too many inside jokes that no one else understands. Honestly, there are too many memories to count—from playground drama to high school hijinks, family vacations, almost dying in the middle of the ocean while the jet ski was sinking, and everything in between. We’ve been each other’s ride-or-die through every stage of life, and our friendship has truly stood the test of time, distance, and questionable style choices. Caitlyn knows me better than almost anyone (sometimes scarily so), and I genuinely can’t imagine this day without her by my side. Her loyalty, sense of humor, and uncanny ability to make even the most ordinary moments feel special are just a few of the reasons I’m so lucky to have her in my life—and lucky enough to have her standing with me on this unforgettable day.
Bridesmaid
Emily and I met in nursing school, which basically means we bonded over shared panic attacks, caffeine overdoses, and tiring nights of flash cards and white boards. There’s really nothing like going through the trenches together—literally, sometimes we were buried under mountains of paperwork, and figuratively, knee deep in shit. She’s one of the goofiest people I know, ridiculously sweet, endlessly loyal, and somehow manages to be my therapist, my hype person, and my partner-in-crime all at once. From baby nurses who couldn’t even find the IV on the first try, to navigating adulthood together (still figuring out some things, but hey, we’re trying!), we’ve seen it all. The coffee spills, the all-nighters, the questionable stain on our scrubs, the “why are we doing this again?” moments—they all shaped this unshakable friendship. I honestly can’t imagine this day without you by my side, Emily. I’m so excited to celebrate together, to laugh until our cheeks hurt, maybe cry a little too, and make even more unforgettable memories. I cant wait to have you by my side!
Bridesmaid
Zamara and I first crossed paths during my days in Emergency Medicine—aka the land of chaos, caffeine, and questionable bodily fluids. From there, we navigated the wild rollercoaster of life, death, and everything in between (shoutout to the unforgettable Health Central adventures—HA!). Our bond only grew stronger through countless shared experiences, from long shifts that tested our sanity to epic adventures that tested our GPS skills. One standout memory has to be our recent road trip to New York in an RV—equal parts hilarious, terrifying, and completely unforgettable. I’m beyond thrilled to have you by my side on this special day, and I can’t wait to celebrate every laugh, dance move, and happy tear with you!
