The summers in Monterey get extremely busy. This particular weekend there is an Indy Car race at Laguna Seca Speedway. Hotels and other accommodations may be difficult to come by.

Driving Information

Traffic getting to Carmel will be busy. Please make sure you give yourself enough time to make it to the ceremony before 6. The venue is technically in Carmel not Carmel-by-the-Sea.

Although this is a little over a half an hour from the venue, it is further away from the hustle and bustle of the weekend and may be more affordable.
