Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

The couple, including immediate family as well as the bridal party will be at Murphys Tavern in Rumson, NJ for a closed event on Friday April 4th. At 8pm, the establishment opens to the public. If you want to visit a fun and unique place where the locals go, come to Murphys at 7pm! We would love to see you before the big day on Saturday. Do yourself a favor and don't google it. Just trust us. (It is primarily a bar, but they do have small bites available)

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is not a dress code, we want you to be comfortable. However, if you need more information and ideas, I got you covered. Cocktail Attire: cocktail dresses, LBDs, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks. Garden Attire: sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues, and fun hats and fascinators. Beach Attire: linen pants, short-sleeved button downs, maxi dresses, and sandals.

When to arrive?

Kindly arrive anytime after 4:00 pm and before 5:00 pm. The ceremony starts promptly at 5:00 pm, so please give yourself enough time to park your car and grab a seat.

How should I get there?

Answer

Uber and Lyft accessible. There will not be shuttles provided from lodging accommodations. May we kindly suggest car pooling with a friend!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are at the same location. How convenient! The venue has a large parking lot free of charge for guests.

When will we eat?

Glad you asked! Immediately following the ceremony, you can expect appetizers and enjoy a grazing table during cocktail hour. The buffet dinner will follow shortly thereafter. Come hungry!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, we're on a tight budget and have limited space, so we simply can’t afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Plus ones are therefore by invitation only and we ask other guests to please not bring a plus one. Thank you so much for understanding!
