I moved into dorm 553 at Charger Village in August of 2020. It was my first semester at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and I was about to meet the random roommates that I had been assigned who would ultimately change my life forever. They were Kristin Knight and Jessica Morrow, and we would become fast and best friends. From dinners together to late night walks, we quickly became very close and had so much fun. One night we had a particularly difficult to open pickle jar, and I suggested that we ask the boys across the hall from us in 554 to give us a hand. We left the jar in front of their door with a note that read "Please open and return to 553". Little did we know how big of an impact that note and jar of pickles would have on our lives. After getting back our newly opened pickle jar, we started writing and passing more notes with the boys, until finally one night we met in person. After that night, we started hanging out more and more with Andrew Edwards and Daniel Vance. We were constantly coming and going between our two common rooms, from watching movies to playing beach volleyball, we were all hanging out several times a week. Our feelings for each other grew slowly and steadily over time, and we had been friends for almost a year by the time we went on our first date on August 30, 2021. And the rest is history :)
