Debuting Dowden

We met in prison. No really, we did. We adore using this shocking line and pausing the conversation long enough to get a good look at a new friend's face when they ask about us. We actually did meet in prison, but not the way most people would assume. We worked together as Sergeants for the State of Florida. Of course, close friends and family were well aware of where we worked, and we didn't get to play any jokes on them. We were actually friends for years and already had a close relationship before we ever started dating. Being friends and already knowing each other so well had us several steps in the right direction for our relationship. Our favorite story: Our very first date was amazing and we were sadly down to our last drinks after dinner. Andrew smiled and asked if I'd like to have the world's best burger. Without a second thought, I happily agreed, not wanting the night to end. Without a single question on where we were going, we drove 3 hours. I was simply content to continue our night and gave absolute trust to the man I had known for years. We ended up in St. Augustine, FL and our first date turned into our first romantic weekend getaway. We've spent the last 4 years taking care of our family and building our future, now we're finally ready to tie the knot. To our closest friends and family, We are so thankful to have you in our lives. You've been our greatest supporters and can't wait for you to join us for one of our most memorable moments!!
