Yes! If you want to bring your kids, we would love to have them. Please feel free to bring your kids, even if your invitation is unclear on whether your kids are invited (they are!). Just let us know so we can have enough food ready.
Business formal or Indian formal-wear.
Of course! Everyone is welcome to wear a sari or other piece of Indian formal clothing. If you've got it, flaunt it. Please keep in mind that in an Indian wedding the bride wears red.
Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions, so that we can let our caterer know. With advance notice, our caterers can accommodate a wide-range of dietary requirements, such as Jain, Kosher, Gluten-free, Vegan, etc.
We've included a list of some of our favorite nearby places as well as a few fun places that are great for short excursions. The hotel also has a number of amenities that will be available. In addition, there will be a communal room available with a number of tables and seating options that we will stock with some card and board games. Members of our immediate families should be on notice that you will be needed for photos during this time.
We are monitoring the pandemic and the vaccine rollout, as well as New Jersey's rules governing weddings and gatherings during COVID. We are committed to making the ceremony and reception safe for everyone involved. Our exact plan will ultimately depend on the number of attendees. As we get closer to the date, we will make a final decision on the size of the wedding, and the resulting safety protocols. Depending on the state of the world, we may have to limit the ceremony and/or the reception so that only immediate family and/or people who are vaccinated can attend in person. If we limit attendance in some way, we are exploring options so that everyone can celebrate with us. We will update this space with further details. The hotel's own COVID protocols can be found here: https://whattoexpect.marriott.com/ewrsp
Yes. Please wear a mask even if you are vaccinated. It will help keep everyone safe, especially those people who may be unable to get vaccinated before the date of the wedding (which may include Andrew).
Yes. If you are comfortable doing so, please do let us know if you are vaccinated or expect to be vaccinated by the date of the wedding. Given the uncertain situation created by the pandemic, this information enables us to create a plan that keeps everyone safe, and assist us in making safe seating arrangements. We may have to limit the total number of guests or limit attendance to only those who are vaccinated, depending on the situation at the time. Please look here for more information in April.
Please only attend if you are comfortable doing so. We will not be offended in the slightest if anyone cannot or chooses not to attend. Please monitor this space as we get closer to the date of the wedding for an update, as we are exploring options to make the ceremony available to everyone. And please let us know and we will and send you photos afterwards, if you would like.
