Our story started at a little company called Peninsula Sanitary Service. In the mornings before work, Katherine and Andrew would chat about movies, music, and random topics, but sparks didn't fly until Secret Santa in 2015. As fate would have it, Katherine drew Andrew's name from the jar and got to work. She made him a board game called Dump the Debris Box using real life scenarios from PSSI. After flirting for awhile, Andrew finally asked Katherine out on a sushi and mini golf date.

When COVID hit, we decided to take the plunge to move in together. Living together brought us much closer and happier. So much so that we decided to purchase a toy hauler for travelling. That led us on a trip to Bisbee, Arizona with Kelli and Shelia, where Andrew wanted to propose. Thankfully, he talked to them beforehand, or he would've proposed in the RV park. Instead, we spent the morning of June 19th, 2021 hiking to the Bisbee B. When we made it to the top Andrew said to look at the view so he could get a good photo. Dropping to one knee, he said turnaround, and I love you, will you marry me? Katherine said yes and the rest is history.
