FAQs

The Wedding Website of Andrew Donahue and Kate Peterson
If you have any questions other than what's listed below, please reach out to Kate or Drew before the wedding.
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We can't wait to celebrate with all of you and would love for everyone to dress up with us! We are requesting festive cocktail to formal attire for the evening. For men, this could mean suits, sport coats, or dress pants with a collared shirt or polo. Ties optional. For woman, dresses below the knees to floor-length or dressy jumpsuits would be perfect. Fun colors, patterns and embellishments are encouraged! We will be celebrating our marriage with a traditional Catholic Mass, so please keep that in mind when choosing your attire. *For women, please refrain from wearing white. The bridesmaids will be in rosey pink satin.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Your invitation will be addressed accordingly and your number of invites will populate online when you go to rsvp. We understand that childcare can be challenging. If attending without your children isn't possible, please reach out to Drew or Kate prior to April 1st, 2026 - we'd be happy to discuss options and may be able to accommodate.

Question

Can I bring a +1?

Answer

If you received a plus one it will be addressed on your invitation and/or it will appear online when you RSVP.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30 and will be an hour long mass. We ask that you arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to park and find a seat. Feel free to sit on either side of the aisle.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, however, if you are planning on drinking, please be aware that there will not be transportation provided for you from the reception back to your hotel.

Question

Do you have a room block?

Answer

There is a room block at The Inn at SentryWorld. We did not reserve a room block at any other hotels, but the travel tab at the top of this website suggests other hotels in the surrounding area. There are many within a 5 mile radius of the ceremony and reception, along with additional hotels not on the travel tab.

Question

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is free parking both at the church and at SentryWorld.

Question

Will we see you on Sunday before you head home?

Answer

No, there will not be any post-wedding events on Sunday, June 28th.

For all the days along the way
