We're 8+ years in; you know the story... But for those of you who don't - we met our 4th year of college at UVA through mutual friends, Liz and Will, who had absolutely no intention of setting us up. After a few back to back weekends on the corner and a month or so of flirtation (ahem, Kasia not-so-subtly trying to get the hint across), we ended up spending our last semester in Charlottesville exploring new restaurants and wine tasting, both hobbies that have stuck. Following graduation, Kasia moved to DC and Andrew to NYC to pursue careers in finance, using our limited free time to travel up and down the east coast and spend any available weekend together. A year in, Kasia relocated to New York, only to have Lehr move to Boston two years later, re-activating our Amtrak rewards programs and resulting in Andrew's perpetual love for and commitment to JetBlue Airlines. In 2018, six years after that initial spark at the Virginian (a local watering hole at UVA), Andrew returned to NYC and we moved into our first home in Brooklyn. We've spent the last few years exploring more restaurants, scoping out real estate we can't afford and wooing our friends to leave Manhattan to visit us over the bridge. After 8 years together, living in 3 cities (4 if you include our recent 4 months in Roanoke), visiting 18 countries (upon last count), witnessing one national championship (Go Hoos!), and collecting approximately 750 wine corks, Andrew proposed in a global pandemic in October 2020 while visiting Kasia's favorite people in the world (and now Maid of Honor and Officiant)! We cannot wait to celebrate with all of you in our hometown (and finally get those last few of you to BK).
