We have secured a room block with a nearby hotel with a special group rate! The Marriott in Pleasanton, California is where the wedding party will be staying and all out of town guests are welcome to book there as well with our special room rate of $149 per night for both October 17th and 18th. You can book one or both nights at that price! They will also have shuttle service to and from the wedding. Hotel shuttle has been cancelled due to no hotel guests needing alternate transportation to and from the hotel - if you are a guest at the hotel that is needing transportation please contact Julie or the family of the groom or bride to let us know!

Things To Do:

The hotel is located just a few miles from the Stoneridge Mall - a huge mall with lots of dining locations and shopping options. Walnut Creek, located just a couple of cities over, has a beautiful downtown with outdoor shopping, dining, and hang out locations. Lafayette is another great option for a pleasant downtown to hang out at. If you are looking for sightseeing - San Francisco is less than an hour drive from Castro Valley. We recommend taking BART if you want to avoid extremely high parking fees in San Francisco. BART will take you nearby popular destinations such as Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf - you can even stop by Giant's stadium if you're a sports fan! If you are staying for a long weekend, Napa is a couple hours away and boasts of their beautiful scenery and excellent dining.
