Jordan and Andrew met the old-fashioned way—on Bumble! It all started in Kansas City in April 2023. After a few weeks of texting, they had their first brunch date at Summit Grill, and the connection took off from there. They even discovered they had crossed paths amongst mutual friends in the past. Some nights when they would hang out, they would just sit on the couch and talk for hours - they became instant close friends! But just as things were beginning, life threw a curveball: Jordan received a promotion and learned she’d be relocating to Tampa later that summer. Despite only hanging out together twice that month, Jordan shared the news with Andrew, who was incredibly supportive. He suggested they stay friends, and from that moment on, they made the most of every day together that summer - going on date nights, attending Royals games and going to country music concerts with friends! When September came, Jordan packed her bags for Tampa. At the time, a long-distance relationship didn’t seem realistic, and saying goodbye to Andrew was one of the hardest things she’d ever done. But even after the move, they still stayed in touch—talking on the phone every single day and planning visits between Kansas City and Tampa. 6 months later, after many heartfelt conversations and cross-country trips, they decided to give long distance a real shot. In March 2024, they made it official—and they’ve been together ever since!
Jordan and Andrew had been looking forward to their Alaskan cruise for over a year. It was a bucket list trip for both of them! Their adventure began in Seattle, where they arrived a day early to explore the city. Joining them were Jordan’s best friend Sara and her husband Chris, along with Jordan’s parents—making the evening feel extra special from the start. Unbeknownst to Jordan, Andrew had been planning something unforgettable. With help from Sara and Chris, he arranged a “pre-dinner cocktail hour” at The Nest Rooftop at the Thompson Hotel downtown. As the couples took turns snapping photos with the stunning water views behind them, it was finally Jordan and Andrew’s turn. That’s when Andrew got down on one knee and asked the question that would change everything—and of course, she said YES! After the rooftop celebration, the group headed to Myrtle Edwards Park for more engagement photos, soaking in the joy of the moment. To top it all off, Andrew surprised Jordan with a dinner reservation at Capital Grille, where her parents were waiting to celebrate with them. Their dear friends, Montanna and Jordan, added an extra touch of magic to the evening by sending a special bottle of champagne for them to enjoy at dinner. The date of the engagement held even more meaning, as it also happened to be Jordan’s mom Kitty’s birthday—a beautiful reminder of love and family. It truly was the most unforgettable day, overflowing with joy, laughter, and the beginning of forever!
