What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

Dress to impress! Gentlemen - please wear a jacket, a button down shirt, and dress pants. Tie is optional. Ladies - please wear a cocktail dress.

Can I stay at the Biltmore? Do I have to stay at the Biltmore?

Answer

Yes, you can stay at the Biltmore and we encourage it! We have a room block available with a discounted rate. To book in the room block, please either: (1) Call (800) 950-0086 directly to speak with a reservations agent, and reference the Carapella/McNichol Wedding; or (2) Use the online Passkey Link https://book.passkey.com/go/CarapellaMcNicholweddingAZB to book directly in the block at the preferred rate. You must book your room by September 17, 2024 to use the room block. If you would like to stay elsewhere, you are welcome to. We recommend the Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Biltmore, which is just 5 minutes away.

Is there a welcome dinner?

Yes! There is a welcome dinner on Friday October 18 at 7:30pm at The Henry Phoenix, on the outdoor patio. All guests are invited to attend. Children are also welcome to attend. Food and drinks will be provided. Please see the Schedule page.

What time does the reception go til?

Answer

Until 11:00pm.

Question

Will there be a DJ or a band? Can I request a song?

Answer

There will be a DJ. Yes you can request a song, but only if you dance to it!

Is there parking at the Biltmore?

Answer

Yes, we have prepaid for valet for all guests. If you will be drinking, please do not drive home. Stay at the Biltmore or take an Uber.

Are children permitted at the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are adults only. Children are welcome at the welcome dinner at The Henry on Friday October 18.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If your invite lists your partner's name, or is addressed to "and guest", you are welcome and encouraged to bring a plus one.

Is there a vegetarian food option?

Answer

Yes. Please indicate the vegetarian food option when you mail the RSVP card. The vegetarian option is roasted baby butternut squash filled with associated tiny vegetables, cauliflower puree, jumbo asparagus, with a balsamic glaze.

Will Otto be involved in the wedding?

Answer

Our grumpy little man declined to participate. He will be there in spirit, in the form of several dachshund-themed items.
